On May 21. 2010, around noon, we entered the former Red Shirt camp at Ratchaprasong again. The area around the main stage was cordoned off by the military and the guarding soldiers tried to stop us from entering the former protest site. After several minutes of heated discussions we decided to ignore the order and entered the cleared area. Although the soldiers were looking at us angrily they didn't take any action. Anyway I could not understand their behavior because at that time the camp was already packed with rubbernecks and scavengers.

There will be no larger explanations or commentaries, only short descriptions. The images speak for themselves.

Just a few minutes after I took this picture the photo album had vanished. The only people around were soldiers.

Scavangers.
Plünderer.

Wat Pathum Wanaram: this angry nun was shouting at the soldiers. Maybe because people had been shot by soldiers on May 19th inside the temple area or maybe because the soldiers were carrying guns inside the Wat.
